Join our super duper festival family by working 4 to 5 hours each day on a variety of tasks. Volunteers will be ideally requested to complete 4 shifts over 4 days of the festival period. The minimum requirement is three shifts over the festival weekend, Friday to Sunday. It is really important that you can commit 100% to the minimum of 3 x 4 to 5 hour shifts. In exchange, we will provide you a fetching volunteer t-shirt in a deliciously brash colour and a full weekend festival ticket FOC.

So… if pennies are tight or if you just love being friendly and helpful as part of an amazing team of people, this could be a great opportunity to get more out of your festival experience.

Changes for 2024 . . .

​

• We will be making a charge for volunteer camping; this will be at 50% of the weekend rate for customers. If you are accepted as a volunteer a payment link will be sent out in June 2024.

• We appreciate this is a change for us and we entirely appreciate the contribution that our volunteers make. We are striving for a sustainable model for UTSf; we are a Community Interest Company and not-for-profit. Having considered all things, including your feedback, charging a nominal rate for camping seems the fairest option as volunteers account for approximately a quarter of all our camping. There is a direct cost for both the space and the facilities on the campsite.

Qualities we are looking for in our volunteers . . .

• The ability to deal with the public in a polite and helpful way

• Maturity, honesty, reliability and punctuality

• The ability to work and co-ordinate with others in a team

• Volunteers must be aged 16 and over but we can accept volunteers aged 14 and 15 if accompanied by an adult.
